Stunning 1960s vintage Sphinx signed brooch in a rhinestone and sparkling diamanté crescent moon design.

Founded in the late 1940s, Sphinx was a high quality English costume jewellery manufacturer and is now a collectible vintage brand.

This beautiful vintage brooch features topaz and green marquise and round topaz stones plus Aurora Borealis stones. These juicy Autumnal colours are topped with four diamanté crescent moons. Sphinx created several configurations of this design and in various colour ways. The brooch has a lovely array of warm colours set within an oval gold tone setting. Closes with a rollover catch.

Stamped to the reverse is the catalogue number 9710 and you can just make out the impression of the oval cartouche with a faint S and p from the Sphinx signature.
